John’s Creek Family Support Group (In-Person and Virtual) – 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month

The NAMI Northside Atlanta John’s Creek Family Support Group meets in-person and virtual- a hybrid meeting. The in-person location is the Summit Counseling located at 2750 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022. The meeting is located in the basement which is accessed via outside steps. There will be signage at the entrance to Summit Counseling center and outside the building to direct you downstairs to the meeting room. Please note that there are multiple locations for Summit Counseling Centers but we meet at the one on Old Alabama Rd in Johns Creek. The Northside Atlanta Buckhead Family Support Group (In-Person and Virtual) – 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
4:00PM to 6:00PM EST
The locaction will be Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, 3180 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. The Church is located on Peachtree Road in Buckhead between West Shadowlawn Drive and Mathieson Avenue.
To access the Blue Parking lot to park for the meeting, you can make a left on Matheison Avenue if you are going North on Peachtree Road or a right on West Shadowlawn Drive if you are going South on Peacthree Road. In both cases you will make your first turn onto Matheison Place where you will see the BLUE Parking Lot sign. Once you enter the parking lot, park as close to the building entrance as you can, and enter Sanctuary Heritage Hall through the double doors (see photo below). We will meet in room C101 which will be down the first hall on the right. There will be NAMI signage to help guide you.

Spectrum Autism Support Group was established in 1998 to provide support, education and resources for individuals and families impacted by autism.
Spectrum currently serves over 2000 families in Gwinnett County and the surrounding Metro Atlanta area and has become a well-known resource in the Autism community.
Support groups, summer day camps, overnight camps, social skills groups, respite, community training, and family events are offered for all ages and abilities.

It uses filtered and coded music to calm the nervous system and activate the vagus nerve, which helps us feel safe and connect with others.
PEMF, or “Pulsed Electromagnetic Field,” is a form of therapy. It delivers low-frequency electromagnetic waves to the human body. A PEMF device usually delivers these waves.
